The Telecom Shield connects an Arduino Mega to an analog phone line and allows audio transmission and reception as well as built-in DTMF tone decoding using the MT8870D decoder chip. I developed the Telecom Shield for Kite and Rocket Research.
This was my first time soldering surface-mount components so it got a bit messy, but by the end I knew what I was doing.
